Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Can you take pictures of (insert game/event/person/object here)?
A. I'm open to photographing nearly anything that I can get to and have the proper equipment for. I'm pretty flexible, but email me in advance so that we can get the necessary scheduling worked out and discuss the details.
Q. Can I order from you directly or do I have to use my credit card through the website?
A. In most cases, ordering through the website will get you the prints you want as fast as possible and with the least amount of extra work for both of us. There are a couple of reasons for this; the pictures are all printed at a professional photo lab in Georgia and are shipped directly to the address you specify in the online checkout. If you contact me and I personally have them ordered, they'll ship to my house rather than yours, then we have to arrange a pickup/shipment.
I understand that some of you may be hesitant to put your credit card information online, but there really isn't anything to worry about. I don't personally run all of the business operations of the site, it's done by professionals who know more about computer security and how the internet works than most of us could ever care to. When you send an order through frozensecond.com your information is encrypted and processed immediately. Unless you specifically say to keep your information on file, it will be erased after the information is verified and the order completed. Honestly, I don't even get to see the address that each order is shipped to, all I ever see is the name and email address of the person who placed the order. If you'd rather pay online with a check/debit card from your bank, many of them should work fine.
If you would like to order through me,
send me an email with the image numbers you'd like along with your choices of size and finish. In any gallery, when you click a thumbnail the image appears in a box to the right. Above the image will be a number in an "xx of xx" format. For example, "13 of 45" that "13" is what I need to know for your order.
Q. I'm having trouble ordering. I add pictures to my shopping cart but they disappear when I go to checkout. What should I do?
A. First, check out
this page and see if that solves the problem. If not, try placing the order from a different computer. If all else fails, just email me the order like I described above.
Q. You have pictures from the game but none of my son/daughter, what's the deal?
A. If you watch me shoot a game you'll notice that my head usually follows the action. Naturally, I'm going to end up with more pictures of the players who are controlling the ball, so you're going to see a lot of pictures of point guards, running backs, and pitchers. It's not that I don't appreciate the offensive lineman, but what they're doing at a given moment isn't usually the most exciting thing going on. If I'm specifically lacking in pictures of someone you'd like to see, send me an email and I will keep my eyes open for photo opportunities at the next game.
